Anker SoundCore 2 Speaker (A3105): Pair Your Device Via Bluetooth

How can you pair the Anker SoundCore 2 speaker with a mobile device via Bluetooth? What do the different LED colors mean? How to use the buttons?

Step 1

Ensure that the Anker SoundCore 2 speaker*  is turned on and the battery fully charged. Do not separate the two devices for more than 3 feet while pairing. Turn on the speaker using the power button on the top.

Step 2

Upon first start, the Anker speaker is automatically set to the pairing mode and the blue LED flashes rapidly. If you have used the speaker before, simply press the Bluetooth button for approx 2 seconds. The speaker is now ready for pairing and can be connected with other Bluetooth enabled devices. – If no device will be connected within 10 minutes, the speaker will automatically turn off.

Step 3

Turn on the Bluetooth mode on your mobile device. It will automatically search for other Bluetooth enabled devices nearby. Select the “SoundCore 2” device from the list. Has the pairing been successful, the speaker’s LED will stay solid blue. – In case your mobile device requests a password, please try the combination “0000” or “8888“.

Step 4 (optional)

If you want to connect the Anker SoundCore 2 speaker*  with another device, simply turn off the Bluetooth function on the first device (for instance “disconnect”) OR press the Bluetooth button for approx 2 seconds. The Anker SoundCore 2 will switch back to the pairing mode in order to connect to another device. Follow again the above steps 1 to 3.

 

 

Additional Information

The speaker will always try to connect to the last used device (mobile phone, tablet, computer) once powered up. In case a connection cannot be established, the speaker switches back to the pairing mode.

 

When the AUX audio cable gets unplugged, the speaker will automatically switch back to the Bluetooth mode.

 

The following functions can be controlled via the different buttons.

Play / Pause Press the Play / Pause button once
Volume Up / Down Press the Volume Up (+) / Down (-) button
Title Next Press the Play / Pause button two times
Pick Up Call / End Call Press the Play / Pause button once
Reject Call Press and hold the Play / Pause button for approx 2 seconds
Un Pair Connected Device / Start Pairing Press and hold the Bluetooth button for approx 2 seconds
Hold Current Call and Pick Up New Call Press the Play / Pause button once
Switch between 2 Active Calls Press the Play / Pause button once
Transfer Active Call back to Mobile Phone Press and hold the Play / Pause button for approx 1 second
Activate Voice Control Press and hold the Play / Pause button for approx 1 second

 

The blue and red LED lights have different meanings.

LED Status Speaker Status
All lights off
The speaker is turned off.
LED solid white
The battery is fully charged. The total battery runtime is approx 24 hours.
LED rapidly flashes blue
The speaker is set to the pairing mode and ready to connect with a device OR incoming call.
LED solid blue
The speaker is successfully paired with a device OR active call.
LED flashes red
The battery level is low.
LED solid red
The battery is charging. A complete charging cycle is approx 3 hours. The speaker can be used while charging.
