Boltune Earphones (TT-BH001): Pair Your Device Via Bluetooth

How can you pair the Boltune Wireless Earphones with a mobile device via Bluetooth? What do the LED colors mean? How to use the buttons?

CAUTION: Electrical Device. Read the safety instructions!

Step 1

Ensure that the Boltune Earphones battery is fully charged. Do not separate the earphones and mobile device for more than 3 feet while pairing.

Step 2

Press and hold the multi function button (middle) on the control unit for 5 seconds. The LED will flash red and blue. The earphones are now ready for pairing and can be connected with other Bluetooth enabled devices.

Step 3

Turn on the Bluetooth mode on your mobile device. It will automatically search for other Bluetooth enabled devices nearby. Choose the “Boltune TT-BH001” device from the list. Has the pairing been successful, the headphone LED will flash blue. – In case your mobile device requests a password, please try the combination “0000” or “8888“.

Step 4 (optional)

In order to perform a “factory reset“, turn the earphones off. Then press and hold the multi function button for approx 10 seconds until the LED flashes purple twice. The device is now reset and can be paired with a new device. Do not forget to remove the Boltune TT-BH001 Earbuds from your Bluetooth device list on your first mobile device.

 

 

Additional Information

The following functions can be controlled via the three different buttons.

 

Function Button How To / Control
Power On Press and hold the multi function button for 1 second.
Power Off Press and hold the multi function button for approx 3 seconds.
Play / Pause Press the multi function button once.
Volume Up / Down Press the volume up (+) / down (-) button.
Title Next / Previous Press and hold the volume up (+) / down (-) button for approx 2 seconds.
Pick Up Call Press the multi function button once.
End Call Press the multi function button once.
Reject Call Press and hold he multi function for 1 second.
Redial Last Call Press the multi function button twice while not being on an active call.

 

 

The blue and red LEDs on the headphone control unit have different meanings.

LED Status Headphone Status
LED solid blue
The battery is fully charged. Total battery runtime is approx 16 hours.
LED flashes red
The battery is almost empty and must be charged.
LED solid red
The battery is getting charged. A full battery charging cycle is about 1.5 hours. A short 5 minutes battery charge can play 2 hours.
LED flashes red and blue
The headphone is set to the Bluetooth pairing mode.
LED flashes blue
The headphone is properly connected to a Bluetooth enabled device.
