Step 1
Ensure that the TaoTronics TT-BH17 headphones is turned on and the battery fully charged. Do not separate the two devices for more than 3 feet while pairing.
Step 2
Slide the Power button to the Bluetooth icon and hold it for approx 3 seconds. The LEDs will flash red and blue. The headphones are now ready for pairing and can be connected with other Bluetooth enabled devices.
Step 3
Turn on the Bluetooth mode on your mobile device. It will automatically search for other Bluetooth enabled devices nearby. Choose the “TaoTronics TT-BH17” device from the list. Once the pairing has been successful, the headphone’s LED will flash blue two times every 5 seconds. – In case your mobile device requests a password, please try the combination “0000” or “8888“.
Step 4 (optional)
If you want to connect the TaoTronics TT-BH17 headphones headphones with a second mobile device, simply turn off the Bluetooth function on the first device (for instance “disconnect”) and turn the headphones off. Then follow again the above steps 1 to 3 for the second mobile device. Turn on the first mobile device. Both mobile devices are now connected to the headphones but only one of them can play music or make phone calls.

The following functions can be controlled via the three different buttons.

The blue and red LEDs on the headphone control unit have different meanings.

| LED off | The headphone is turned off OR the battery is fully charged. Total battery runtime is approx 20 hours. |
| LED flashes red |
The battery is almost empty and must be charged. An acoustic signal will be prompted. |
| LED solid red |
The battery is getting charged. A full battery charging cycle is about 3 hours. |
| LED flashes red and blue |
The headphone is set to the Bluetooth pairing mode. |

The headphone is disconnected. |
