CAUTION: Electrical Device. Read the safety instructions!
Use Adapter as Receiver (RX)
Step 1
Ensure that the TaoTronics TT-BA09 audio adapter battery is fully charged and connected via the 3.5 mm audio jack or optical cable (TOSLINK) to the audio system. You will have to select the “AUX”, “Line-In” or “SPDIF” jack as a source. Do not separate the two devices for more than 3 feet while pairing.
Step 2
Switch to “RX” mode (button on the side). Press and hold the Power button on the unit for approx 3 seconds. The LED will flash red and blue. The receiver is now ready for pairing and can be connected with other Bluetooth enabled devices.
Step 3
Turn on the Bluetooth mode on your mobile device. It will automatically search for other Bluetooth enabled devices nearby. Choose the “TaoTronics TT-BA09” device from the list. Has the pairing been successful, the receiver’s LED will be solid blue. – In case your mobile device requests a password, please try the combination “0000”, “1111”, “8888” or “1234”.
Step 4
In case the audio receiver and the mobile devices were paired previously, it’s no more required to start pairing again since both devices will repair automatically next time. However, after a mode switch (TX to RX / RX to TX) the previous pairing setup will be deleted.
Step 5 (optional)
To pair a second device, turn off the Bluetooth mode on the already paired (first) device. Press the Power button 2 times. The audio receiver will switch back into the pairing mode. Follow again the above steps 1 to 3 for the second device. After the successful pairing, turn on the Bluetooth mode on the first device and both devices are connected simultaneously. NOTE: Only one device can stream audio. The other device must pause the streaming.

Additional Information
Switching from the Transmitter (TX) to Receiver (RX) mode on the TT-BA07 – and vice versa – will only succeed if the adapter is switched off for at least 3 seconds. When the mode got switched, all connection settings of the previous mode are deleted and must be reset later. – However, a switch between AUX and SPDIF (TOSLINK – optical) can be done at any time.
