Anker SoundCore Spirit (A3403): Pair Your Device Via Bluetooth

How can you pair the Anker SoundCore Spirit headphones with a mobile device via Bluetooth? What do the LED colors mean? How to use the buttons?

CAUTION: Electrical Device. Read the safety instructions!

Step 1

Ensure that the SoundCore Spirit headphones is turned on and the battery fully charged. Do not separate the mobile device for more than 3 feet while pairing.

Step 2

Press the Play button and hold it for approx 3 seconds. The LED will rapidly flash blue. The headphones are now ready for pairing and can be connected with other Bluetooth enabled devices.

Step 3

Turn on the Bluetooth mode on your mobile device. It will automatically search for other Bluetooth enabled devices nearby. Choose the “SoundCore Spirit” device from the list. Once the pairing has been successful, the headphone’s LED will stay solid blue. – In case your mobile device requests a password, please try the combination “0000” or “8888“.

Step 4 (optional)

If you want to connect the SoundCore Spirit headphones headphones with a second mobile device, simply turn off the Bluetooth function on the first device (for instance “disconnect”) and hold the Play button for another 3 seconds. Then follow again the above steps 1 to 3 for the second mobile device. Turn on the first mobile device. Both mobile devices are now connected to the headphones but only one of them can play music or make phone calls.

Additional Information

 

The following functions can be controlled via the three different buttons.

Function Button How To / Control
Power On Press and hold the Play button for approx 1 second.
Power Off Press and hold the Play button for approx 3 seconds.
Play / Pause Press the Play button once.
Volume Up / Down Press the Volume Up (+) / Volume Down (-) once.
Title Next / Previous Press and hold the Volume Up (+) / Volume Down (-) for approx 1 second.
Pick Up Call / End Call Press the Play button once.
Reject Call / Switch between Calls / Transfer Call to Mobile Phone Press and hold the Play button for approx 1 second.
Put current Call on Hold and Pick Up Incoming Call Press the Play button once.
Activate Voice Control (e.g. Siri) Press and hold the Play button for approx 1 second.

 

 

The blue and red LEDs on the headphone control unit have different meanings.

LED Status Headphone Status
LED off The headphone is turned off. Total battery runtime is approx 8 hours.
LED flashes red
The battery is almost empty and must be charged. An acoustic signal will be prompted.
LED solid red
The battery is getting charged. A full battery charging cycle is about 1.5 hours.
LED flashes blue
The headphone is set to the Bluetooth pairing mode.
LED solid blue
The headphone is connected to a Bluetooth device OR battery fully charged.
LED slowly flashes blue
Active phone call.
LED rapidly flashes blue
Incoming phone call.
LED flashes blue once
The headphone is turned on.
LED flashes red once
The headphone is turned off.
