JBL Flip 3 Speaker: Pairing Your Mobile Via Bluetooth

How can you pair the JBL Flip 3 speaker with a mobile device via Bluetooth? How can you perform a pairing reset?

Step 1

Turn on the JBL Flip 3 speaker by pressing the ON/OFF power button. Then press the Bluetooth button and you will hear an acoustic signal. The pairing mode is activated and searches for Bluetooth enabled devices nearby.

Step 2

Turn on the Bluetooth mode on your device (smartphone, tablet, computer). The Power light of the speaker flashes blue while the two devices try to pair.

Step 3

Select the model “JBL Flip 3” from the device list. If a code is requested, enter the combination “0000” and confirm the pairing. Once the connection has been established, the blue Power light will stay solid.

Step 4

The JBL Flip 3 speaker will always try to automatically reconnect with the last used device after turning it on. In case the connection cannot be established, the speaker will switch back to the pairing mode.

Additional Information

In order to connect two JBL speakers (Flip 3, Pulse2, Xtreme) with each other, press the “JBL Connect” button on the first speaker, then turn the second speaker on and press the “JBL Connect” button as well. Both speakers will be paired within approx 5 seconds.

In order to perform a connection reset, press and hold the Bluetooth button for approx 3 seconds until the blue light turns off. Press the Bluetooth button again to start a new pairing. Follow the steps 2 and 3 above.
